Snowcoast Saunas are designed and crafted by hand in Maine to an exceptional standard using locally sourced wood.
Inspired by Finnish tradition, Snowcoast was created to rekindle heat, community, and wellbeing during our deep winters.
Made in Maine
Each Snowcoast Sauna is individually crafted using locally sourced Eastern white cedar for both interior and exterior finishes. Cedar is heat and water resistant, meaning it will not warp during a steamy wood-fired sauna session, while the low density of the wood makes it an excellent insulator. Outside, a combination of cedar shakes and yakisugi, a traditional Japanese charring technique, creates a striking and durable exterior.

Therapeutic Heat
Winters in the Northeast can be long and challenging. Inspired by Scandinavian culture, we launched Snowcoast to share the physical and mental benefits of sauna heat therapy with other cold climate dwellers.
